There are more than 3500+ books and 8 different reading levels. Interactive reading support allows your student to read to the app and get help on tricky words. Kids can earn badges and rewards when they hit reading milestones. They can also play games, rate and review books, and get personalized book recommendations. The app also has book categories and personalization for users. Kids can tap a word to get reading help; they also have access to definitions and translations. There’s also real-time feedback which means that if the child misreads a word, the app will offer the correct word. There are also options for readers to follow along and listen to the text while the app reads to the student (the words are highlighted on the screen as the app reads them).
Rivet works on Android smartphones and tablets, Chromebooks, iPhones and iPads, and Kindle Fire. Devices must be running either Android 5.0, iOS 9.0, Fire OS 5.0 or higher.
The app is FREE and it’s called… Rivet: Better Reading Practice For Kids
