Dress Code
Shirts
One of three styles—polo, oxford (button down), or turtleneck
- Must have a collar
- Short or long sleeves
- Any solid color (not heathered... see below)
- No logos (except approved school logos)
- Long enough to remain tucked in
Pants, Capris & Knee-Length Shorts
One of three styles—slacks, cargo, or Docker (the style, not the brand)

- Solid color: Khaki (an appropriate shade of brown, tan, or green), navy, black, or gray
- Pants in good repair (no holes or frayed edges)
- Shorts should reach the knee
- No denim/jeans or athletic wear such as sweats or athletic shorts
- No joggers (elastic at ankle)
Skirts, Skorts & Jumpers

Dresses
- Knee-length, solid-color polo dresses (any color) are permitted
Leggings, Tights & Knee-High Socks
- Any solid color when worn with skirts, jumpers, or shorts
- Free of logos
Shoes
- Closed-toe
- No light-up shoes
Sweaters, Sweatshirts, Cardigans & Vests
- When inside the building, these may be worn over a dress code shirt for warmth
- Must fit all dress code standards except a collar
- Any solid color
- No logos
Hair
Outerwear: Coats & Jackets
- Hairstyles should be conservative
- No modified hair colors or styles that draw attention to self, such as: Mohawks, fauxhawks, steppes, or shaved designs, etc.
- Simple/conservative hair accessories (avoid trends that call attention to self)
Outerwear: Coats & Jackets
- Appropriate outerwear for recess time does not need to be a solid color
- Appropriate patterns and logos are okay
- Any outerwear worn inside the building must be dress code solid color with no patterns or logos
Outerwear: Snow Pants
Kindergarten & 1st grade:

Kindergarten & 1st grade:
- Snow pants do not need to be a solid color. They may have prints/patterns.
- If K-1 students wear snow pants to school, they should plan on wearing them all day; changing in/out of snow pants is a time-consuming task for students this age.
2nd & 3rd grade:
- Snow pants that are solid-colored in dress code colors (black, navy, khaki, gray) may be worn throughout the day and inside the classroom.
- Snow pants that are not dress code must be removed when in the classroom.
4th & 5th grade:
- Students may wear snow pants at recess only.
Administrative Interpretations
- No additional décor on the clothing, such as beads and sequins, even if the same color as the solid color clothing.
- No excessive and/or non-essential accessories (multiple ear rings, scarves, etc.)
- Clothing must not be form fitting or excessively baggy
- Check with the school ahead of time if there are any questions
