On Thursday, April 13th, we will be serving Aggie Ice Cream to students. There will be a gluten-free and non-dairy option provided.
Your kindergarteners have come SO FAR this year! It’s amazing. They've been working so hard (and learning so many phonograms) that they have all the tools they need in order to practice writing words and sentences independently. They are BRAVE SPELLERS! One of my favorite things is seeing them confidently write things all on their own. Thank you for encouraging them to put pencil to paper and write down their own thoughts and ideas. It's exciting to see!

Mother's Day Tea on Wednesday, May 10th. AM Class: 10:40-11:05 PM Class: 2:30-2:55 Due to the limited space in our classroom, each student may invite one guest. See you there! Dear Parents,
We are pleased to announce our 2023 Summer School schedule! The summer school will be offered concurrently at both TECS North and TECS South, July 25-August 4, for nine days, 8:30 - 11:30. Teachers will focus on math and reading skills and plan their lessons according to the needs of the students. Summer school provides an excellent opportunity for students to review essential concepts and brush up on their skills before the new school year. Our upcoming Parent-Teacher Conferences provide a great time to discuss the possibility of Summer School support with your child’s teacher/s. To register for summer school, please call the campus you would like to attend by May 5th, 2023. This deadline will ensure we have enough instructors in place before the end of the school year. Please give the school secretary academic information about your child’s summer school needs. Class size is limited so register right away! As a reminder, students are expected to follow the school dress code during summer classes. Closed-toed shoes are required for your child’s safety. Please see the parent handbook at thomased.org if you have questions. We have a short list of private tutors that we recommend that is available upon request. These tutors are offering the sessions independently of TECS and the school is listing them as a courtesy to you, the parents. We look forward to sharing more knowledge with your children this summer! Sincerely, Carolyn Larsen Director of Instruction Parents, please take a few minutes and complete the parent survey. Your feedback is very important to us.
Tickets will also be on sale at Parent Teacher Conferences after school on Wednesday, March 8th and in the the morning of Thursday, March 9th at the front office area.
This event will have timed rotations with the first rotation beginning at 6:00 PM Tickets are limited, so do not delay in getting your tickets. This presentation will take place during class time on March 16. Pleas let me know if you do not want your child to participate. We didn't have time for many pictures, but we sure had fun celebrating Dr. Seuss's birthday! |
